High heels or boots? Boots! I don't really like heels unless I am dancing.
What time did you get up this morning? 8:00ish... :)
What was the last movie you saw at the theater? War Horse
What is your favorite T.V. Show? I don't really watch TV but I like most shows on Food Network.
What do you usually have for breakfast? A smoothie or a piece of toast.
What food do you dislike? Sweet potatoes. *gags* I cannot even try to eat them.
What is your favorite CD at the moment? Any of my Josh Groban CD's. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Illuminations.
What characteristic do you despise? The "I-know-everything-you-know-nothing" characteristic. It REALLY gets under my skin.
Favorite clothing? Leggings.
Anywhere in the world on vacation? I really want to go to Ireland or Scotland. In fact I have a piggy (cupcake) bank for my "Ireland fund."
Are you an organized person? In some stuff. I really like being organized but I get in such a hurry I just pile things in my room.
Where would you retire to? Why the heck would I want to retire???
What was your most recent memorable birthday? My 16th. It was so much fun! My best friend surprised me for a visit and we had a cupcake challenge!
What are you going to do when you finish this? Intro to Literature assignment.

Are you a morning person or a night person? Night all the way. Although, if I have to be I can be a morning person.
What is your shoe size? 11. And it is EXTREMELY hard to find shoes that fit. :)

Any news you'd like to share? I just got singing lessons for my birthday! *jumps up and down*
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? Hmm, that's a tough one. Maybe a veterinarian.

What day on the calendar are you looking forward to? My graduation! :) But sadly, I still have like two more years!

Chocolate or vanilla? Umm duh. Totally chocolate!
Wish you were still young? Yes and no. There are many advantages of being a teenager, but there are times when I know it would be WAY less complicated if I were seven.
Do you want to get married? I guess so. But right now I want to enjoy my singleness!
When was the last time you cried? Hmmm I don't know.
What is under you bed? A box of blankets and dust-bunnies.
What did you do last night? I drove home from Chattanooga and watched The Little Mermaid for a class.
What are you afraid of? Spiders... hate 'em!
Salty or sweet? Both. But I do have a ridiculous sweet tooth!
Best quality you have? I don't know if this qualifies as my "best" quality, but I have a really hard time staying mad and I am almost always in a good mood.
How many years at your current job? Don't have a job.
Favorite day of the week? Wednesday. (Piano lessons)
Favorite movie? Tangled, Pride and Prejudice and Gladiator.

Do you like finding all this stuff out about your friends? Yeah, I really enjoy learning random things about people.

This post is dedicated to my very best friend forever, Amanda Ake. Amanda has gotten me through some seriously tough times, including moving, deaths and everyday stress.

My family has known her family since before either of us were born so we have literally grown up together. Almost all of my childhood memories have her in them.

Amanda is awesome, she's hard working and points me back to the Cross when I get too stressed or upset. I am so extremely blessed to have her as my dear friend and Sister in Christ. Love ya Amanda!

Day 13: A childhood memory

Some would argue that I am still a child.... :)

One of my favoritist and most cherished memories is of Mitchel and I playing together. We had this staircase, with a balcony overlooking it. So we would take all my thousands of stuffed animals, tie some string around their necks and fling them over the edge. We would then continue to "rescue" the "poor endangered animals." I swear we must have spent half of my childhood playing that game. It was so much fun.

I went outside today and I noticed something very familiar in the air. It smelled like Spring! Hurrah! So to celebrate this momentous occasion, here are some pictures of this really cool candy I found...

I thought that was really neat! It was an actual chicken egg that they painted. If you live in the Nashville/Brentwood area you can get them at The Fresh Market for around five bucks.

This is Dee Parker, Sarah Parker, and Diana Parker! We are not related (as far as we know) but we are some of the greatest friends imaginable. We have done so much with each other! Whether it was jumping on the trampoline at 11:30 at night and then freaking out because we think there is someone in the woods, or staying up 'til 3 in the morning just to talk. These girls and their family are some of the sweetest people I know. <3 y'all!

This post isn't fair. I don't really have any favorite songs for any particular moment. It really depends... I am so tired of this 30 day thing. But I will finish it!

So I looked up the definition of pride, and this is what I came up with.

-A feeling of self-respect and personal worth

-A high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc.

-A becoming or dignified sense of what is due to oneself or one's position or character; self-respect; self-esteem.

Yikes! These all seem like pretty self-centered definitions to me! :-o Trust me, I am already plenty selfish without having to spend an entire blog post on it. So, instead of spending this post on something I am proud of, I am going to spend it on something I have been blessed with!

1. My mom. If I had to use just one phrase to describe my mother with, it would have to be, "practically perfect in every way." I love you mom!

2. My cat. Being able to confide everything in him and knowing that he won't tell is a great blessing. ;)

3. My sweet cousin Anna. Her prayers and encouragement have gotten me through several tough times recently. Thanks Anna!

4. And most of all, God's tremendous grace. "His mercies are renewed every morning!"

Oh yeah baby! Cupcakes! If cupcakes are cute and happy, they make me happy. If they are ugly and taste bad, I get mad too. I have several inside jokes with them, so every time they are mentioned I smile. I associate them with different memories I have made. Don't you judge me. :)

I must admit that I have never given a lot of thought to this question. It would probably be Iron Man. I mean, he is just so cool! I want a suit that can fit in a briefcase! And he can fly! I like him the best because he uses his brains, not his "super powers."

The last movie I watched was Pride and Prejudice. I watched it yesterday while I was in bed with the flu.
I watched the Keira Knightly version, which, in my opinion, is by far the best one!
